Design
I’ve been playfully dubbed by peers as a “pixel pusher” or “wireframe monkey” thanks to my obsessive attention to detail when designing. However, what excites me the most about design is the broader challenge of understanding relationships between variables and shaping their interactions to create empathetic, elegant solutions that serve both users and businesses.
Background
In 2019, I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Over the following years, I gained professional experience across a number of industries, including music, education, and property management, before deciding to pursue a career in product design. To facilitate this transition, I enrolled in General Assembly’s User Experience Design Bootcamp where I fell in love with learning and practicing the foundational skills of design. I completed the course in early 2024 and have been designing since.
Expression
When I’m not designing, I like to stay creatively active by consuming culture, making music, and writing. I’ve found that I derive a lot of personal happiness and satisfaction from learning about the creative processes behind influential works and producing ideas of my own.
